How to upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D3

Note:
I am NOT responsible for possible damage to the PSP

Required:

-PSP with CFW (4.01 M33 or higher) or HEN
-5.50 GEN-D3 [Download]
-EBOOT 5.50 [Download]

Note that you can only upgrade to the 5.50 GEN, if you have already installed the 4.01 M33 or higher.

Warning:
Never take the battery out or turn the PSP itself out during the following steps!

The minimum battery level can be bypassed by pressing L + triangle when you start the update.


5.50 GEN-D3 install

1. Download the 5.50 GEN-D3 and the EBOOT 5.50 and extracted the archive

2. Go with the PSP into USB mode, or pockets the memory stick into the PC.

3. Now copy the UPDATE folder from the extracted archive of the 5.50 GEN-D3 to PSP / GAME on your Memory Stick.

4. Copy the 550.PBP into the main folder (ms0: / - next to PICTURE, PSP, MUSIC, etc.) on the memory stick.

Note: This must absolutely do it, even if you have already installed a previous 5.50 GEN.

5. Now clears the USB mode or put your stick back into the PSP.

6. Go in the PSP game menu on the stick and starts the 5.50 GEN-D3 update.

7. In the screen that appears, you are going to enter, and confirmed with X.

8. Then loads a new menu. Selects Flash Install CFW 5.50 GEN-D, and pushes back X. The CFW will now be flashed.


When the installation is complete, you must necessarily press X again to restart the PSP. Never turn off the PSP itself

when i put the files on my root, and unpluged my psp, how do i install it? so i can hack

HERE IT IS!!!! are you blind?

witch is better; 5.00 m33-6, or 5.50 GEN-D3?

5.00 M33-6 dont have problems with Plugins. But not all games work on it.

5.50 GEN-D3 have Problems with some Plugins. But all Games works on it.

Im not sure which is better.
